In 2005-06, SKCR took the lead and fought victoriously in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to prevent the elimination of all real estate signs in the western United States (in response to the city of Redmond's argument to the 9th Circuit that the way for the courts to obtain symmetry would be to eliminate real estate signs instead of allowing additional signs for other businesses).

SKCR has even been successful in enhancing REALTORS® marketing efforts by increasing the number of real estate signs allowed in many local jurisdictions.
