Third Annual Homestay Program for Japanese real estate professionals
July 16, 2024
The third annual Global Real Estate Homestay Program welcomed three real estate professionals from Japan on July 12–17.
Visitors spent four days with hosts for an immersive experience in the daily life of REALTORS® in the US. They visited real estate offices, attended showings and property tours, learned about the MLS system, and bonded with their hosts.
“We haven’t stopped laughing since she got here,” remarked host Jenny Hill of Coldwell Banker Bain. "It’s really been an incredible experience."
The homestay program is part of Seattle King County REALTORS®'s work as NAR’s Ambassador Association to Japan. The goal of the homestay program is to build global connections and promote cultural exchange within the real estate community. A reception at Windermere Eastlake on July 15 provided the opportunity for REALTOR® leaders and the Global Real Estate Council to network with visitors and hosts and to learn more about the program.
Special thanks to hosts Amy McKenna, Windermere Ballard; CL Tang, John L Scott Redmond; and Jenny Hill, Coldwell Banker Bain. And thank you to Windermere Eastlake for hosting the reception.
